肖千大使在悉尼科技大学澳中关系研究院“大使对话会”发表主旨演讲

世界新闻网澳大利亚消息3月19日，肖千大使应邀出席悉尼科技大学澳中关系研究院（ACRI）“大使对话会”活动，发表题为《在动荡复杂的世界变局中携手推动中澳关系破浪前行》的主旨演讲，来自澳学界、工商界代表近百人出席。

肖大使重点宣介全国两会精神，表示“十五五”规划聚焦打造高质量产业体系，着力建设世界最大消费市场，将为澳等世界各国提供发展机遇、分享发展成果。当前国际局势“乱”字当头、危中蕴机。中澳关系稳中有进、正当其时。

中方愿同澳方认真落实高层共识不动摇，努力拉长合作清单、压缩问题清单，让2026年成为中澳关系的进取收获之年，推动中澳关系航船不偏航、不失速、向前进。  演讲后，肖大使就中澳关系和国际热点问题同活动主办方及现场观众互动交流。

On March 19, Ambassador Xiao Qian was invited to deliver a keynote speech titled “Navigating Challenges and Advancing China-Australia Relations in a Turbulent, Complex World” at the Australia-China Relations Institute (ACRI) Ambassador Dialogue Event. Nearly a hundred representatives from academic and business communities in Australia attended the event. 

Ambassador Xiao highlighted that China’s Two sessions reviewed and adopted the 15th Five-Year Plan, which focuses on building a high-quality industrial system and developing the world’s largest consumer market. It will share economic opportunities and development fruits to all countries around the world including Australia. At present, the international landscape is marked by instability and uncertainty, but crises also harbour opportunity. The time is right to steadily and sustainably advance the China-Australia Relations. China stands ready to work together with Australia, to continue to implement the important common understandings reached by our leaders, lengthen the list of cooperation and shorten the list of problems, and strive to make 2026 a year of progress and harvest in China-Australia relations, ensuring that the ship of our bilateral ties stays on course, maintains momentum, and forges steadily ahead. 

After his speech, Ambassador Xiao engaged in a discussion with the event organizers and the audience on China-Australia relations and current international issues.
